This business letter with the offer of choices of specially prepared Christmas cards, including the one printed of my painting of the Canadian Parliament, was sent to the members of parliament to choose those they wanted send to their relatives and or constituents, in Ottawa in 1991.


I wasn't sure I wanted to put up a post about the beautiful event. I've been wading in my Canadian memories for awhile now; a task that had not been among my plans. Had those, till now unknown facts in my past personal life not surfaced through the internet I would probably be living my life happily in my blessed ignorance and it would be the farthest thought from my mind to wander around the past and find some explanations to some questions even if for nothing more than just for a peace of my mind. Ottawa Winterlude Festival 
But as it is of the in and I could not attend, I've decided at least to put up some pictures

A new Winterlude festival.is just around the corner so I put back as the way forward to a long past Winterlude is getting longer... Peter Rakobowchuk alias Peter Ray, my then-husband reporter at The Canadian Press got transferred and we moved to the home of this famous Canadian winter festival...I really loved to live there...Until our home wrecker arrived to work on Parliament Hill where my husband worked...  my post from last year
